Family, a love for the land and a strong connection to local traditions were the foundations on which Francesco Monaci’s farm was built.

“The farm was founded in 2015 out of a desire to return to the passions and traditions of my childhood. It was this strong bond with my family that inspired the farm’s logo: a stylised whale’s tail forming the trunk of an olive tree, with its roots set deep in our beautiful land. ‘The Whale’ was my grandmother’s nickname, and it has been passed down through five generations.”

All this, combined with passion and hard work, allows the land to reward us each year with outstanding products of the highest quality.

Our farm is located at the foot of Mount Amiata, an ancient volcano forming the southernmost offshoot of the Tuscan Apennines. Our land extends across the municipalities of Castel del Piano and Seggiano, within the Castanetum phytoclimatic zone.

We work every day to bring our finest products directly to your home, from olive oil and honey to preserves, chestnuts and a wide range of chestnut-based products.
